Pink Out For Hope (POFH) will host its 12th Booby Bolt 5k and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the Pleasant View Community Park, 2501 Pleasant View Road.

The local 501(c)3 nonprofit is now accepting sponsorships for the event through July 15.

POFH offers financial support, resources and hope to local breast cancer patients who have recently been diagnosed and are receiving treatments for breast cancer.  To date, POFH has generously assisted more than 70 local patients.

The Booby Bolt 5k is the nonprofit’s largest fundraiser. The last race in 2023 brought in over 500 participants who chose to walk or run the course. It was the group's second largest event to date. The event was canceled in 2024 due to several of the board members' active fight with breast cancer.

Individual entry fee is $40 (race-day $50) per participant. A registered pre-race day team of 8 or more will receive a $5 discount per participant. If your registration is paid by September 15, you will receive a t-shirt, swag bag, and medal.

Kids age 12 or under can register for a 1-mile Fun Run. The Kids Fun Run fee is $20 (no race day registration) and kids get a t-shirt and medal. Registration will open after July 29 at http://pinkoutforhope.org.

Sponsorships are available for businesses and individuals ranging from $100 to $1,000. If you would like to be a sponsor, make a donation or donate swag items to promote your business, please reach out to POFH at info@PinkOutForHope.org.
