Harpeth River outfitters anticipate improved weather after rainy start to season

Frequent rain and a raging river have made for a soggy start to the summer season on the Harpeth River this year.

Spring has historically been the beginning of river season, with locals and visitors alike taking advantage of warmer weather to enjoy the gentle river currents, picnic areas, and hiking trails in and around the Harpeth River. Between watercraft “put-in” points along the river, multiple canoe and kayak rental outfitters, and the trails and facilities throughout the Harpeth River State Park system, our community is brimming with offerings for enjoyable outdoor activities.
