Harpeth Basketball is in full swing and bringing an exciting mix of triumphs and challenges for both the boys and girls teams of Harpeth High School. Harpeth played in the Thanksgiving Classic Tournament hosted by Creek Wood last week.

While the boys’ team showcased an impressive victory in the opening round, the girls’ team faced a tough battle against Creek Wood that ultimately ended in disappointment. In round two, the boys’ team clashed with Creek Wood, experiencing an unexpected setback after their dominant first-round performance.

Despite the mixed outcomes, there were standout performances on both teams that deserve recognition. The Lady Indians showcased resilience and determination in their opening game, and individual efforts were commendable even in defeat. The boys’ team demonstrated their potential and talent.

The tournament served as a crucial early-season test for both teams. The challenges faced by each undoubtedly will fuel their determination to improve and succeed in upcoming games. With a whole lot of basketball left to play this season, make sure you come out to a game soon and cheer on our Indians!
