Newly elected Pegram officials sworn in

Cheatham County Mayor McCarver swore in the newly elected leaders for the Town of Pegram for the next four years ahead of the Board of Mayor and Alderman monthly meeting on Monday, Aug. 26. 


Charles Morehead has replaced Mayor John Louallen. This will be Morehead’s fifth term as Pegram’s mayor. 


Incumbent Bob Sanders won his reelection for a fourth term as alderman and was appointed by the new board to serve a second term as vice mayor. Miranda Christy Montgomery was sworn in to serve as alderwoman for the 2024-2028 term. 


Bo Sanders did not seek reelection. Remaining board members include Randy Howington and Michael Paszek. 


The Town of Pegram’s Board of Mayor and Alderman meetings are held on the last Monday of every month at 7 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Sept. 30 at Pegram City Hall.
