Whenever Lisa Wysocky leaves Cheatham County, the lights dim. Or so it seems. As an alternative source of energy, Wysocky rivals solar panels and wind turbines. Specifically, she authors prize-winning mystery novels, generates movies, trains and shows horses to levels of national prominence, conducts two popular podcasts and oversees a massive charity and its legion of volunteer workers. While there is no known proof that she spends her off hours spinning straw into gold, it wouldn't be the least surprising.
