Volunteers backbone of KS fire department

In Kingston Springs, if you call for the fire department, volunteers answer the call.

Dedication is vital to a fire department that depends on committed volunteers to keep its community safe. Fire Chief Jeremy Vaughan noted that the Kingston Springs fire service is 100% volunteer, which is not unusual in a country where 70% of fire departments are made up of volunteers.
