Kingston Springs to celebrate 60th anniversary
The Town of Kingston Springs will commemorate its 60th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 26, with a community celebration at Burns Park. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. and are open to all residents and visitors.
The evening will start at the activity center with free hot dogs, chips and drinks. At 6:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy “Stories of Kingston Springs” featuring local historians and lifelong residents Priscilla Dorris and Roger Patterson, hosted by the Gazette’s founder Cate Burgan.
The celebration will conclude with birthday cake and fireworks at approximately 7:15 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for comfortable seating throughout the evening.
