Lyon and Martin replaced outgoing aldermen Randy Howington and Michael Paszek, who both did not seek another term.
Pegram's election cycle was crowded this year, with five candidates vying for the two open seats.
Martin won 41% of the votes during the Aug. 6 election while Lyon won 22% of the votes.
“I would like to thank everyone that voted and had the confidence in me,” Martin said. “I’m excited to serve the community and look forward working with everyone.”
Lyon said he was grateful to voters and looking forward to serving the community.
“I appreciate everyone who took the time to vote, and I look forward to engaging with the community and serving Pegram to the best of my ability,” he said.
The change in office comes at a time when Pegram is grappling with major expansion and growth, as well expensive capital projects like the aging sewer system.
