Pegram Community Club Annual Fish Fry

Join the Pegram Community Club for its Annual Fish Fry on Saturday, April 6, and experience the power of community! They'll be serving up the good stuff, starting at 11 a.m. and going until it's gone. All proceeds benefit the Pegram Community Club. More information about prices and volunteering can be found here


Spring Sports at HHS

Spring sports are in full swing at our local schools. Here’s when you can get out and support our softball, baseball, and boys soccer teams at home! See the full season schedule here

  • April 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the HHS baseball field. 

  • April 11 at 6 p.m. at the HHS baseball field.

  • April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the HHS baseball field.

  • April 16 at 6 p.m. at the HHS baseball field.

  • April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the HHS baseball field.

  • April 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the HHS baseball field.

Softball:

Hiking 24 Miles in 2024 with Harpeth River State Park

Join Ranger Lisa on a two mile hike every month to complete 24 miles in 2024! Ranger Lisa will host two hikes each month to help accommodate participants’ schedules. They will be hiking different routes along Hidden Lake, Gossett Tract, and the Narrows of the Harpeth. Check back later for details on these hikes. Below, there is more info on other upcoming hikes:

Solar Eclipse Viewing

Middle Tennessee is expecting 95% coverage of the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8. You must wear protective eyeglasses to look at the eclipse. We are expecting peak coverage around 2 p.m. in South Cheatham. Schools will not close for the event, but are offering parents the option of an admin day if they wish to take their students out of school that day.


Paint & Sip at Turnbull Provisions

Head down to Turnbull Provisions on Saturday, April 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. for a night of art and relaxation. Sip, paint, and enjoy your evening with creativity and friends! Tickets are $45 and include a drink from SKYKING PIZZA. Reserve your spot here


Earth Day Community Planting

Would you like to help Harpeth River State Park plant wildflowers on Earth Day weekend? Join them on April 22 at Hidden Lake at 10 a.m. to help sew native wildflower seeds for our pollinator friends! Program is free, but registration is required. 


Trivia Nights at SKYKING PIZZA

Note changed time SKYKING PIZZA in downtown Kingston Springs will begin hosting Trivia Nights every other Tuesday. Tickets are $5, and the bi-weekly event will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m, in conjunction with happy hour. Happy hour is buy one drink, get one half off.


Story Time With Ms. Velvet

The South Cheatham Public Library will once again hold weekly story times on Thursday mornings with Ms. Velvet. Story Time With Ms. Velvet will take place every Thursday through April 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the log cabin in downtown Kingston Springs. 


KS Main Street Market

Mark your calendars for Main Street Market in downtown Kingston Springs on April 27 from noon to 4 p.m, hosted by Fred & Mary’s and Turnbull Provisions. Vendors interested in participating can email hello@fredandmarys.com to inquire.


West Glow Farm Nursery Sale and Spring Festival

Head out to Kingston Springs’ West Glow Farm on Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. for an afternoon on the farm. They will have organic plant starts for sale, creative vendors, food and music!


HHS Car Show

Harpeth High School will present their 2nd Annual Car Show on May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Car entries are $20 each. 


Kingston Springs City Wide Yard Sale

Mark your calendars for Kingston Springs’ annual city-wide yard sale, to be held on Saturday, May 11. 


Food Truck Mondays are Back! 

The Town of Kingston Springs will host Food Truck Mondays once again this summer. The first event will be held on Monday, May 20 in downtown Kingston Springs. The food trucks will return every other Monday through August.


Kingston Springs Farmers and Artisans Market

The Town of Kingston Springs’ 11th annual Farmers and Artisans Market will begin on Saturday, May 25 in downtown Kingston Springs. The market will take place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon until Aug. 31. 


Summer Horse Days at BlackFriar Farm

BlackFriar Farm in Kingston Springs will host its Summer Horse Days camp for ages 6 and up from June 3-7 and June 17-21 from 9 a,m, to 2 p.m. daily. All skill levels are welcome, and the cost is $400 per week. It includes horseback riding, arts and crafts, and games. 


Maypop Forest School Summer Camp

Maypop Forest School on The Land in Kingston Springs will offer an eight week summer camp for ages 4 through 8. Beginning June 3, camp will be held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. until August 8. There will be a one week break from July 1 through 5. There is a 3- and 5-day option. Kingston Springs Annual Fishing Rodeo

Save the date for the Town of Kingston Springs’ annual fishing rodeo at the pond in Burns Park, on Saturday, June 8. 


Camp Sparrow Song 

Registration for summer 2024 at Camp Sparrow Song at West Glow Farm in Kingston Springs is now open. The camp will take place June 10-14 and June 17-21 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Camp Sparrow Song is for children who have just completed Kindergarten through Grade 5. Campers who sign up by April 15 will receive the Early Bird Price of $210/week. After that, the price will increase to $250/week.


Pegram Church of Christ Vacation Bible School

Join PCOC for its annual VBS on June 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s theme is “God in Creation (and in Creators Like You).” The event is open to pre-K through 6th grade and will be held at the church building. 


Pegram’s July 4th Celebration

Mark your calendars for the Town of Pegram’s 48th Annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2024! 


Kingston Springs Parks and Recreation Summer Camp

Registration is now open for the Town of Kingston Springs’ annual Summer Camp, held at Burns Park. The first week – July 15-19 – will be for ages 6 to 8. The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will cost $275. The second week – July 22-26 – will be for ages 9 to 12. The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will cost $325.
