Solar eclipse 2024: Views from South Cheatham

A partial solar eclipse came through South Cheatham county on the afternoon of Monday, April 8 – with 95% coverage just after 2 p.m.


Kingston Springs and Pegram residents stopped what they were doing and went outside, hopeful to catch a glimpse of the eclipse through the clouds. Some even traveled several hours northwest to get the full experience: a total eclipse for more than four minutes.
