Summer has officially started in Kingston Springs, with the town launching its annual Food Truck Monday Series and Farmers and Artisans Market.
Food Truck Monday began in 2023 as another way to gather the community and enjoy local artists. Similar to last year, the first Food Truck Monday of 2025 was met with a rainy start, but that didn't stop locals from coming out.
On the evening of May 19, four food trucks – 1881 Concessions, Hautewheels, This Turkey Here and The Wee Chippy – lined up at 5 p.m. to serve residents burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and more.
The Town of Kingston Springs is hopeful the weather for the next Food Truck Monday on June 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. will be sunnier. Food truck Monday's will continue with different vendors and live music every other week through the month of August.
The Kingston Springs Farmers and Artisans Market also kicked off its twelfth season without a hitch on Saturday, May 24. The market, which will run every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon until September, features a variety of vendors that offer fresh, local food, baked good and crafts.
The Farmers Market lot, across the train tracks, also features a stage for local live music beginning at 9:30 a.m.
